What to prepare so a technologist can answer in one go
The more precise the data, the closer the first sample.
Film or paper
Type and thickness in µm, corona treatment in dyn/cm, film supplier if known.
Printing press
Model, number of units, printing speed. For flexo: anilox in l/cm and cm³/m²; for gravure: screen ruling and cell depth.
Adhesive and structure
Solvent-based or solventless adhesive, the second film, bond strength requirements.
Standards
Pantone, HKS or a physical sample. Matching on X-Rite, tolerance ΔE < 1.5.
Packed product
Food or non-food, freezing, pasteurisation, contact with fat or moisture.
Demand
Approximate kg per month by colour, and the delivery country.
